The Pill + speaker, the first product of Beats By Dre since its passage under the bosom of Apple, finally arrived at the editorial office. We tried it and here are our first impressions.
Beats launched last year’s Pill +. This is the first nomadic enclosure launched by the former brand of Dr Dre since its acquisition by Apple pregnant nomad. And the least I can say is that it bears the imprint of the Apple, but I will come back to it later. Just the packaging of this Bluetooth speaker can give you as much chills as a new clip from your favorite artist. As usual with Beats, packaging sends a dream. Well packed , the packaging hides a portable speaker that is almost half the size of the competitors UE Boom and Jabra Solemate.
Thanks to its cylindrical pill-shaped design, the Beats loudspeaker offers a nice grip. And sign of the redemption of the mark by American giant, one finds a Lightning port to reload the enclosure Pill +. But what I really kiffé in my first steps with this product is its pairing and its ease of use. To pair your smartphone / tablet with the speaker, just press a few seconds on the famous ” b ” button . Once it flashes, it’s good: you can select the speaker in the Bluetooth menu of your mobile, and the trick is played .
On the sound side, the Beats enclosure sends heavy, highlighting mediums and voices . And as always with Beats whose PowerBeats3 Wireless have been validated by footballer Marco Verratti, the low frequencies are well present. But here, this rendering has changed according to the placement of the enclosure. Since this one is equipped with speakers on the front, you really have to be careful to place the Pill + in front of you if you want to splurge to the max, even if the enclosure can fuck the mess in a whole apartment ‘ . Well, I’m not going to make it difficult. I will listen now to Damso thoroughly to test this nomad enclosure then, wait and see ..
The post Beats by Dre: We just received the Pill + speaker, and the pill goes well! first appeared on The Siver Times.

I had the opportunity to test the Bose QC30 with my iPhone 7. And frankly, I enjoyed myself. In terms of comfort, the new Bose headphones are perfect. You do not feel the neck or headphones, even when you fall asleep with. Beyond this good grip , the noise reduction is perfect. Not only is it convincing but it can also be adjusted as a simple volume . In other words, this noise reduction can also be modified to listen to the ambient sound.
Without having the ear of a great music lover, I quickly was seduced by the quality of the new headphones from Bose. There is no photo with the AirPods, for example. Resistant to perspiration, the Bose QC30 headphones can also be used during your sports sessions . But if you expected to shoot the REAL successor of the QC20 in wireless, the disappointment will be great. The QC30 are rather a more powerful version of the SoundSport wireless that has been tested and which brings the reduction of noise and a better autonomy
But I also found some flaws in Bose headphones. It all starts with the Bose application that makes it easy to pair your device. But apart from that, do not expect much from this app. It does not propose an equalizer for example and it is frankly a pity. Another blackhead is the absence of a jack that prevents the use of the helmet in an airplane seat. But overall, the Bose QC30 earphones are very appreciable. And you can get them by HERE , at the price of 300 euros
The post I tested the Bose QC 30, the kings of earphones for iPhone and iPad! first appeared on The Siver Times.

They are there ! Expected for many months, the BeatsX (or Beats X eh) have just appeared on the shelves. Equipped with the Apple W1 chip that is also found in AirPods, PowerBeats3 Wireless and Solo3 Wireless, these small in-ear Bluetooth have easy pairing with the iPhone. Aesthetically, Apple and its subsidiary Beats have not invented hot water this time since the BeatsX remind us of the famous LG Tone. But the resemblances stop there! The headphones are connected by a Flex-Form cable that can be shaped as you please , which is impossible with an LG headset. And stuff of egg, this special cable is, in turn, equipped with 2 weights to keep the headphones close to your neck while you jump everywhere.
And once you want to remove your BeatsX, they will hang down your neck. The two headphones can squarely stick to form a kind of chain thanks to the magnets that equip them . It’s really cool and very practical. Very light, the BeatsX are easily forgotten and can accompany you oklm during your day. As for the pairing, it is done in a very simple way: just press the Bluetooth button of the headphones to start the process. As soon as the BeatsX panel appears on your iPhone screen, and it’s fast enough, just touch Connect and wait a few seconds. Exit the galley of pairing in Bluetooth that planted once in two! Best of all, the BeatsX are also compatible with Android, just like the AirPods I tested with an Honor 8.
Music playback from the iPhone is no problem, according to my first tests on the Apple Music with pieces of PNL and Damso. And like the AirPods, the BeatsX are equipped with a microphone and react very well with Siri . Otherwise, we also find a remote control on the Flex-Form cable to control what you listen to but good, it has already seen in other manufacturers although (it must be admitted) is very practical. This first rapid take-over is promising. We will return to the details of how the BeatsX works with a Mac an iPad and an Apple Watch in our test, as well as the other aspects of these in-ear, which are available today!
The post First BeatsX, the wireless headphones equipped with the W1 chip from Apple! first appeared on The Siver Times.

This is BlackPods which may also retrieve your conventional AirPods before processing with a black coating. You want to shopper your pair? MeltyStyle tells you how it goes.
The AirPods that form a dynamic duo with the iPhone 7 and housing are colored black by a proprietary process that takes three days. You can buy a pair of black headphones at the price of $ 249, directly on BlackPods or send your headphones to be changed, to $ 99. But then, the offer is only available to United States currently. In the meantime, you can try pairing the AirPods with the MacBook Pro and iPhone 7.
The post AirPods: What if the wireless headset turned black? #BlackPods first appeared on The Siver Times.

The wireless headsets have (re) become trendy. And this type of equipment continues to develop, like the MDR-1000X from Sony which rivals the famous Bose QuietComfort 35. In addition to its well-designed design, the new helmet of the Japanese manufacturer mixes, with Brio, robustness, lightness and flexibility. Equipped with thick pads, the MDR-1000X (which is available in beige and black colors) easily adapts to all body types . But it’s probably its noise reducer, simple to use and effective, which really impressed us.
The Sony MDR-1000X delivers high battery life (more than 24 hours) and a highly efficient outdoor noise reduction system, especially in public transit. His listening outside without noise reduction function is really cool and the ability to control the music is via a touch area on the helmet has a magical thing. In short, everything is good to justify buying this headset noise reduction . Only black dot for this headphone that officially costs 400 euros, the lack of treble and an application to control the sound from the smartphone. Let me now compare it to the Bose QuietComfort 35 …
Unlike the MDR-1000x, noise reduction can not be disabled on the Bose QC35. Level of comfort, the helmet of Sony has nothing to envy that of Bose. At meltyStyle, we just regret that its pads are not removable. In summary, the MDR -1000X is a great Bluetooth headset with good sound quality and excellent battery . If its features are enough to overshadow the Bose QuietComfort 35, its higher price (400 euros against 380 for the Bose headphones) is a barrier to purchase. Hopefully Sony will see it again soon!
The post Sony MDR-1000X, the true competitor of the Bose QuietComfort 35! first appeared on The Siver Times.

But the two accessories are not equal. We tested them and here are our impressions

Apple has decided to revolutionize wireless. With the W1 chip that equips the Beats Solo3 Wireless headset and the AirPods, Apple offers innovative features on these products. After spending a day with the AirPods and tried the on-ear headphones Beats, we especially gets off the sound quality, autonomy and automatic configuration of these devices . But the two accessories are not equal. Far from being as intrusive as an in-ear headset and more practical than a supra-auricular headset (the Solo3 is only one example among many others), the AirPods have everything to please. Explanations.

The Beats Solo3 Wireless offers better autonomy than the AirPods
Thanks to their small size, the AirPods are easily forgotten in the ears . And contrary to appearances, you can shake your head, dance like never before and even run, without the headphones falling. The W1 chip also brings new features such as dual optical sensors and the accelerometer. With this technology, the headphones are activated – just as you slide them into your ears. Just remove them to pause the music and that’s really cool! Another advantage is that the AirPods can also be used on Android smartphones. We tested them with an Honor 8 and the result was not bad. But the key is elsewhere and meltyStyle tells you more

The case of the AirPods is very practical to benefit from a autonomy of up to 24 hours
Personally used to repetitive otitis, I did not feel any discomfort when trying the AirPods. With headphones or conventional headphones, my sensations are different: Just keep for 3 or 4 hours of earphones or earphones in my ears so that a feeling of discomfort makes its appearance. With AirPods, the wireless listening has never been so cool . As for Solo3 Beats Wireless, it can still boast of offering greater autonomy than AirPods . However, it does not offer the most effective noise reduction headphones that wireless Apple that are available to purchase here. Practices thanks to their box, the headsets seem ready to impose themselves, against all odds, in the world of the wireless.
The post This is why the AirPods can compete with the Beats Solo3 Wireless first appeared on The Siver Times.
