That statement fits into a headline — which is where it needs to go to get attention! Then, in case the readers don’t believe it — and before you lose their attention — you need to summarize the means of prevention in the first paragraph, e.g.:

“Nearly all bowel/colorectal cancers can be prevented by removing pre-cancerous growths called ‘polyps’ during a one-hour ‘screening’ procedure that will also relieve any symptoms caused by the polyps. You can return to work on the following day…”
