LIGO boss David Reitze's final plea to the Nobel Committee; just before
October 3rd when the Nobel Prize for physics is to be announced, “Now,
please give me the Prize!” The wildly rumored (in August) neutron star
merger (with an optical counterpart "to blow your socks off") needed
higher sensitivity on the part of Virgo, so now LIGO-Virgo collaboration
folks change their mind and announce another BH merger (very massive!
because Virgo is less sensitive!) on 14 August 2017. In legal language
it is called an act of "improvement". It seems, number 14 is a very date
marked by the LIGods! WHAT A FARCE of signal injection by LIGO senior
staff themselves! Congratulations to the spin-doctors of LIGO-Virgo
collaboration, indeed. However, gradually the farcical loom of the
Emperor’s New Clothes is showing up. KEEP IT UP! Now there is INDIGO in
India, which is actually a disused twin of LIGO detector lying in
Hanford USA. India has already paid $300 million to LIGO for it. At
least, by 2025 or so, a few thousand Indian engineers and scientists
will get permanent employment with INDIGO – weaving a finer invisible
tapestry of gravitational waves from black hole mergers. IF LIGO
collaboration had any conscience, they would let this claimed detection
on the 14th August 2017 be the last and allow everything to fade into
obscurity. But that is not so, they will continue to fake it like a fake
organ till the changing times change everything.
