    Other impending departures?

    • The PQ, rumor has it Nicolas Marceau (Rousseau) will announce shortly that they will not stand at the next election.
    • Among the liberals, several members would think of their future. This would be the case of the president of the national Assembly, Jacques Chagnon (Westmount-Saint-Louis), Germain Chevarie (Îles-de-la-Madeleine), Raymond Bernier (Montmorency), Michel Matte (Portneuf), Serge Simard (Dubuc), Geoffrey Kelley (Jacques Cartier), and Laurent Lessard (Lotbinière-Frontenac). In addition, the state of the health of Pierre Paradis (Brome-Missisquoi), who suffered a concussion in January 2017, may not allow him to run again.
