MONTREAL – A boil-preventive has been issued by the montreal borough of Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, due to the breakdown of a major water line occurred in the morning on Friday.
The breakage has been repaired during the day, but, even if the running water is returned from the affected area, people must boil their water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before consuming it.
The affected area is located north of Sherbrooke street, from the east of the rue Joseph-A.-Rodier up in Montreal-East and up to the limits of the borough of Anjou”, stated the borough.
