Ottawa: 10 new charges against a quebec physician

    Ten new charges were brought Wednesday against Vincent Nadon, the doctor at the health Service of the University of Ottawa (SSUO) who is suspected of having filmed and sexually assaulted some of his patients.

    The 56 year old man from Chelsea, in Outaouais, had been arrested a few weeks ago by investigators from the Ottawa police. He then appeared in court under charges of sexual assault and voyeurism.

    Since his arrest, 10 new alleged victims came forward to authorities.

    Dr. Vincent Nadon, who has been practicing family medicine in Ottawa, is believed to have filmed at least one of his patients came to consult it. It practical for the account of the SSUO, an independent service provider of the University of Ottawa.

    This is a complaint filed by a woman in her twenties who has put police on the trail of the health professional, who practiced in a clinic located at 316 Rideau street, close to the University of Ottawa.

    “During the medical examination, the woman began to suspect that it is filmed without his consent and without his knowledge”, had indicated the authorities in a press release issued in mid-January.
