Jean-Martin Aussant will announce Thursday his return within the Parti québécois.

According to political analyst of The Game, Bernard Drainville, there will be a special advisor to the office of the leader of the PQ, Jean-François Lisée.

It had occupied since 2015 the position of general director of the Chantier de l’économie sociale.

In 2008, Mr. Aussant was elected for the first time deputy pq in the riding of Nicolet-Yamaska in 2008. He left the line pq members in 2011 following a disagreement with the then leader, Pauline Marois, and creates its own training policy, sovereignty, national Option.

After two years as leader of Option nationale, he left politics for family reasons.
