    OTTAWA – A recall notice for biscuits of the mark Lotte has been issued due to the presence of undeclared peanuts.

    The affected products may have been sold nationally.

    It is:

    “Kancho Choco Biscuit”, the format 168 g (all codes for which the presence of peanuts is not declared on the label – UPC 8 801062 245055)

    “Kancho Choco Biscuit”, the format 95 g (all codes for which the presence of peanuts is not declared on the label – UPC 8 801062 516858)

    “Kancho Choco biscuit”, in the format 42 g (all codes for which the presence of peanuts is not declared on the label – UPC 8 801062 144815).

    This recall stems from consumer complaints, reactions related to the consumption of these products have been reported to the canadian food inspection agency (CFIA).

    People who suffer from an allergy to peanuts should not consume these products and may return to the institution where they were purchased, said the CFIA.
