MONTREAL | A 22 year old male was stabbed Sunday morning in the borough of Ville-Marie, Montreal.
The police recovered the young man around 3: 40 a.m., face bloodied, at the corner of Guy street and de Maisonneuve boulevard West. After examination, they discover that he has been stabbed in the back, probably after an altercation with several other people.
“The victim would have had a conflict with several people at the corner of Crescent street and [the boulevard] Maisonneuve. During the altercation, he would have been stabbed,” said Jean-Pierre Brodeur, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
The man was transported to the hospital, but it does not fear for his life, according to the SPVM. Investigators and a canine unit were dispatched to the scene to determine the circumstances of the event and attempt to identify the attacker. No arrest has been made for the moment.
