A former chef and former culinary columnist at Salut bonjour! Weekend has undergone its preliminary investigation in connection with 14 counts of sexual nature laid against young boys over a period of ten years.

François Robert, all of gray clothed, was presented, Monday, to hear what the alleged victims had to tell about the actions that are complained of.

In the course of the investigation, two young men who at the time were between 13 and 15 years are come to tell the judge René de la Sablonnière how and where they had met the man of 52 years old.

However, as an order of non-publication was requested by Marc Delisle, the lawyer who represents Robert, the nothing that has been told can not be distributed.

All in all, the man is facing 14 counts for either of the sexual contacts, incentives to sexual touching, luring, obtaining sexual services for consideration-and for sexual assault.

As the committal for trial was not challenged, Robert has been quoted on the whole of the charges brought against him and he has chosen a trial before a judge alone.

This folder will be joining the one of 2016 which is accused of François Robert of luring a child under 14 years of age in April 2008 to Three-Rivers.

Recall that in August 2011, François Robert then accused of having committed sexual acts on a minor, had been acquitted at the opening of a preliminary inquiry at the palace of justice in Laval.

Judge Gilles Garneau had made this verdict because, for a second time, the Crown had not been able to hear his principal witness since the latter was not ready psychologically to come before the court.
