Pitbulls dead in the freezer: a couple of Magog is stopped

    The couple in which two dogs pitbulls had recently been found dead in a freezer has been arrested for animal cruelty Friday morning, Magog in the eastern Townships.

    The 20 year-old woman and 21 year-old man facing a charge of having deliberately neglected or failed to provide their animals food, water, shelter, and care are suitable and sufficient.

    The couple rented a residence located on Stanley street since the end of the month of December. They had several dogs with them.

    But the 21 February, the owner of the property is returned to the house and found herself in front of the scene appalling. The house had been left in a sorry state: feces and urine littered the floor and a freezer left on site contained the bodies of two dogs that are very emaciated.
