The Quebec judge severely the work of the minister of Health, Gaétan Barrette, according to a poll by Léger, whose full results will be published on Saturday in our pages.

In fact, 66 % of respondents believe that the minister has done “a poor job” over the past three years, compared to 19 % who have a favorable opinion of its mandate. Finally, 15% of respondents did not know or refused to answer.

Also, according to 44 % of Quebecers, the presence of a doctor at the head of the health care network is a disadvantage, while 38 % believe that it is a good thing. It was the first time that the firm Leger posed this question in a survey.

The stroke of the probe, conducted for The Newspaper and the newspaper, le Devoir has been carried out in line with 993 Quebec from 26 February to 1 march 2018. The results were then weighted to ensure a representative sample.
