According to him, together with the American physicist James Hartley they formulated a theory about the lack of boundaries, according to which the boundary condition of the Universe is that it has no border, reports Rus.Media.

Thus, Hawking proposes to introduce the beginning of the Universe in the form of a South pole of the Earth as the point at which apply the ordinary laws of physics.

There is nothing South of the South pole, there was nothing before the Big Bang, concluded the physicist.

Previously, Stephen Hawking said that the Earth may soon repeat the fate of Venus and turn into a so-called hell through the unbearable high temperature.
