TORONTO – The remains of a seventh individual were found in boxes associated with the alleged serial killer of Toronto, Bruce McArthur, announced the Toronto police on Monday.
During a press conference at police headquarters, detective sergeant Hank Idsinga said that these human remains were discovered during excavations of bins from a property, located at 53 crescent Mallory, related to McArthur of the time it was the landscaper.
The seven persons whose remains have been discovered at this place, four have not yet been identified.
In addition, on Monday, detective sergeant Idsinga and his team have made public the photo of a man taken when he was died and who could be a victim of Bruce McArthur, suspected to have targeted men in the gay community of Toronto in recent years.
“We need to put a name on this face and allow the family to this man to do their mourning,” said the investigator in front of journalists, warning that the photo could be disturbing, especially for people who may recognise the deceased.
Up to now, the McArthur, a 66-year old man, arrested last January, is accused of the murders of six men : Andrew Kinsman, Selim Esen, Majeed Kayhan, Soroush Mahmudi, Dean Lisowick and Skandaraj “Skanda” Navaratnam.
