MONTREAL – Stopped there a little over a year for heroin trafficking, and was released pending his trial, a Montreal 59-year-old had vanished, and the Montreal police request the assistance of the public to find him.
Yves Savard was arrested on January 20, 2017 as part of an operation which had in particular enabled us to find in him 25 grams of heroin.
He has subsequently appeared in Montreal under charges of drug trafficking and conspiracy.
Released the result of its investigation on bail, Yves Savard was never presented before the judge during the steps following judicial.
During its run, Christiane Bergeron, 62 years old, and Emmanuel Amaral, 52-year-old, who took over from Savard to make the distribution of heroin, according to police.
The duo, however, has been pinned on the 9th June last, and they appeared the day after their arrest for possession of heroin and fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
Amaral and Bergeron have recently received their sentence. Emmanuel Amaral has been sentenced to five years imprisonment, while Christiane Bergeron must serve three and a half years in prison.
Despite the conviction of two alleged accomplices of Yves Savard, the latter is still not found.
