The winter has not said its last word: a winter storm will strike the Quebec, as of Wednesday evening.

The arrival of a low pressure system on Wednesday cause of the snow intermittently throughout the day, and this throughout Quebec. The temperatures will be around zero.

This depression has already made nearly 35 cm of snow in the Prairies.

In Montreal and Quebec city, at least 5 cm are expected in the course of the evening.

The system will intensify in the night from Wednesday to Thursday.

On Thursday, the snow will become more sustained in the south, the day will be marked by snow and gusts of wind.

The east of the province is expected to receive accumulations of up to 35 cm between Wednesday and Saturday. Between 20 and 35 cm of snow are expected in the centre, Beauce, the eastern Townships, the areas of Montmagny-L’islet, Charlevoix and the Gaspe peninsula.

Friday, the low pressure system will continue its road to the north of Quebec and generally used: time cloudy and showers of snow are predicted for the entire province.
