Earth hour (Earth Hour) is a global annual international event, organized by the world wildlife Fund (World Wide Fund for Nature, WWF), held every year in one of the last Saturdays of March. It is that on this day at the appointed time, people in different countries of the world for one hour switch off lights and other electrical appliances. The meaning of this action is to attract the widest possible attention of the entire world community to the problem of climate change our planet, to show their support for the idea of the need for United action in solving the environmental problems. It is worth mentioning that “Earth Hour” is primarily a symbolic action of careful attitude to nature, appeal to the public to take decisive measures for the conservation of our planet’s climate and concerns about its limited resources. According to scientists, by 2003, the impact of human activities on the ecosystem of the planet has increased so much that if current trends continue, by 2050 people will need a second planet to satisfy the needs of humanity in energy, water, food, waste disposal… So to solve the problem of preservation of the planet must work together and at different levels, and with today’s action, every person anywhere in the world can demonstrate their concern about the depletion of natural resources and “vote” for a healthy planet.
