Actress Carrie Fisher succumbs to heart attack

In the mind – and in the heart – of the greatest number, she was the princess Leia, the heroine all white dressed in Star Wars. But she was much, much more than that, Carrie Fisher, who succumbed Tuesday to a heart attack on Friday shortly before she landed the London-Los Angeles flight on which she had taken her seat.
