Toyota introduced a new pickup Toyota HiLux Tonka concept
Toyota Australia officially presented its new conceptual extreme pickup Toyota HiLux Tonka concept, developed by the Japanese together with the company Tonka, which specializes in the production of toy trucks.
It was stated that the prototype was released in honor of the HiLux pickup truck, the demand for which in the local market last year was about 40 thousand cars. Extreme Toyota HiLux Tonka concept was built on the basis of the SR5 Double Cab architecture and is specialized for operation in road conditions of virtually any complexity.
Toyota HiLux Tonka concept features a unique black and yellow coloring, 17-inch wheels with 35-inch tires, as well as a reinforced suspension, a new hood and a powerful bumper. The ground clearance of the model reaches 150 mm.
The concept model is equipped with a full-drive system and a 177-horsepower 2.8-liter engine, which develops 450 Nm of torque.
