What if you were told that you could find out what’s in your food with the camera on your smartphone? Thanks to iOS 11, it will be possible, and a video demo can be viewed!

Remember: we had talked to you of an impressive technical demo in augmented reality for iOS 11. This demo was created by a Parisian box with Apple’s ARKit. The latter allows developers to exploit this technology that had cardboard last summer with Pokemon Go (maybe you were or still are addicted to this application!). Other companies continue to introduce new apps using augmented reality as the latest in order to … know the composition of your food! We already see the fitness addicts use it wisely to eat healty.

In the demo visible above, developers use an iPad to analyze the composition of a banana. All its nutritional values appear immediately and allow to know what the user will eat. Of course, you are advised not to do it with a good fat fast food under penalty of seeing many carbohydrates appear on your screen! IOS 11, which will also offer new emojis, reserves nice surprises thanks to augmented reality. The ARKit development tool has been available since June 5th, and yet many companies already have amazing applications.
