A motorist and his passenger had a narrow escape early Friday evening when their vehicle was hit by a train and dragged a hundred meters, in the area of Bromptonville, Sherbrooke.
The accident occurred at about 19 h on the rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, near the Saint-François river.
According to the police of Sherbrooke, nobody was seriously injured in this event. Only the passenger of the vehicle suffered a minor injury to the head.
The car would be a total loss.
