Cyclo-défi Enbridge: Montreal-Quebec bike against cancer

    MONTREAL – thousands of cyclists will participate, Saturday and Sunday, the Cyclo-défi Enbridge. They will take the challenge of doing Montreal-Quebec bike ride to benefit the fight against cancer.

    Cyclists will meet at 8 am, Saturday morning, in front of the School Jean Baptiste Meilleur in Repentigny, for the opening ceremonies. The challenge will be to browse more than 200 km bike ride to connect Montreal to Quebec city in two days.

    The organizers expect the arrival of the cyclists in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Sunday in the afternoon.

    The money raised will fund research at the Segal cancer Centre of the jewish general Hospital (JGH).

    Last year near 1222 cyclists participated in the event and $ 4.4 million had been raised. Since its launch, more than $ 46 million that was raised for the programs of research of the JGH and its partners.
