SAINTE-MÉLANIE | The search resumed Monday for find a woman of 36 years disappeared Sunday in the waters of the river L’assomption in Sainte-Mélanie, in Lanaudière.

The tragedy happened early Sunday morning at the Campsite Beach Bernard.
After having participated in a feast in the community hall Saturday evening, a group of people moved to a nearby beach to finish the evening.
Towards 4 a.m., a resident of the campground spotted the lady who was bathing in the water. She reported that all was well, but she has not been seen since. His disappearance was reported at 6 p.m.
This lady has a trailer with her husband on the spot.
The evening went off without a hitch.
