Jeannot, one of the few male elephants fertile in the Safari Park, has recently made a donation of sperm for the preservation of the genetic heritage of the African elephant.
The direction of the zoological park of Hemmingford, in the Montérégie region, has announced by way of press release to have proceeded on the 14th of June in a crop of cum on his elephant Jeannot.
Conducted by Francis Lavigne and his team at the Safari Park, together with scientists of the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research and the Zoo in Pittsburgh, the operation that lasted one hour and was a great success since Jeannot was “donated” to 30 ml of precious seed.
