The output drive of a truck dual tank caused a major spill of fuel, Tuesday morning, in the Lanaudière region.
The hiccough occurred around 11 p.m. on route 131, between the municipalities of Saint-Jean-de-Matha and Saint-Émélie-de-l Energy.
According to the first information obtained by the Sûreté du Québec, the driver of the truck would be off the road and the truck double tank would have ended up in the ditch, on the edge of the road.
The tanks, containing diesel and gasoline, are spilled at this location.
The injuries sustained by the driver do not life-threatening, according to authorities.
