A citizen has captured stunning images of a fire that damaged a building housing the district La Petite-Patrie, Tuesday afternoon, in Montreal.
The fire is said to 14h, in one of the apartments of the building located on the avenue de Chateaubriand, near the rue de Bellechasse.
Thirty firefighters were dispatched to the scene to douse the flames.
The fire would have taken birth in a room on the second floor before spreading to the roof.
The emergency services reported no injuries, but two families have to be relocated temporarily.
The damages were valued at approximately $ 100,000, according to the fire department.
The cause of the blaze has not yet been established.
