Searches of the RCMP and the FBI: the suspect takes his life in Thaìlande

THREE-RIVERS – The survey of international stature who had led the RCMP and the FBI in Trois-Rivières last week is experiencing a dramatic development. The suspect arrested in Thailand, Alexandre Cazes, 26 years old, took her own life in the cell of the Bureau of narcotics from Bangkok where he had been detained since 5 July last.

The press in thailand has reported that he would have used a towel inside the toilet room the call for action at 7 p.m. local time.

Cazes was on the point of meet with a lawyer to prepare the extradition procedures. The United States wanted the transfer to their territory for the judge.

Cazes was suspected of tampering with weapons and drugs via the “dark web”. In Thailand, where he lived for eight years, he worked as a computer programmer. He was a married man. His train of life of the prince, drew, however, attention. He had three houses and luxury cars.

The police officers had searched a private residence of Three-Rivers as a mini-warehouse in the sector Cap-de-la-Madeleine, to which the suspect was connected to. They were looking for computer equipment. Another search had been conducted simultaneously in Montreal.

The canadian department of global Affairs has been seized of the case.

In a short press release, the department said: “our hearts go out to the members of the family and friends of Alexandre Cazes. Consular officials in Ottawa and Bangkok are in communication with the members of his family”.
