SALABERRY-DE-VALLEYFIELD – Two men were arrested early Friday morning at a residence in the rue Lemay, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, in Montérégie, in the context of a search in the field of drugs.

One of the two, Mathieu Touzin, 22 years old, appeared later in the day, “under various charges related to drug and continue to be held until his return to the courts for its investigation released on 17 July”.

The other individual, a man of 28 years whose identity has not been made public, was released by way of a summons, said the Sûreté du Québec.

During the search, the police seized on the scene more than 11 kg of cannabis, more than 1 kg of hashish, more than 50 methamphetamine tablets as well as production equipment.
