SAINT-JEROME| The suspect of 22 years suspected of having stabbed a young 18 year old man early Sunday in Rosemere has been formally accused of attempted murder Monday afternoon, in Saint-Jérôme.

Kyle Helmut Webber, a native of British Columbia, has appeared in three charges, including attempted murder, armed assault and possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous.
The young man is suspected to have stabbed his victim during an altercation occurred Sunday around 4 a.m. in the morning. Following the assault, the young man severely wounded managed to take refuge inside a convenience store, located on boulevard Roland-Durand.
According to authorities, the victim in this case is still hospitalized, but no one was concern not for his life.
According to the police, “everything seems to indicate” that the murder attempt is related to a drug deal.
