The alleged victims of a former nurse montrealers accused of sexual misconduct on six patients are credible, supported the trustee’s counsel of the Order of the nurses, yesterday, that demand that he is found guilty.

“You have four clients who claim to have had intimate relations with the respondent at two different schools and another who says that he has tried to establish an intimate relationship in more of a confession. Stakeholders have also collected testimonies and confirmed that the clients were well oriented. I submit that the evidence is decisive, that the respondent has committed the offences which are alleged to have committed, ” said Alain Galarneau, counsel for the trustee of the Ordre des infirmières and infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ), yesterday.

Sex

The ex-nurse Marouane Jerraf is facing six counts of offense of sexual misconduct. He is accused of having sexual relations on several occasions with the four patients hospitalized in psychiatry at the inside walls of the two hospitals where he worked, and also to the outside for some of them. He would also have kissed another female patient and making sexual advances to a final.

The facts allegedly took place between 2012 and 2016 among female patients in their twenties and thirties that he had cared for at the hospital Notre-Dame (CHUM) and at the pavillon Albert-Prevost, Montreal. Mr. Jerraf no longer practising because it has been removed temporarily in November last year.

Counsel for the trustee reiterated yesterday that a twenty testimonies were filed as evidence against Mr. Jerraf. He also presented an excerpt from a polygraph test that the ex-medic had undergone in 2015 for another record so that a patient accused him of sexual harassment. The ex-nurse there mentioned that he already had “just kissed” a patient in the toilet.

Oral argument postponed

Earlier this week, Mr. Jerraf has pleaded not guilty and denied in block have committed these gestures.

The ex-nurse did not finally presented his oral argument before the College yesterday. The chairman of the board of discipline, Daniel Y.
