A car strikes the motorcycle from a couple of customers in Shefford

    SHEFFORD | A vehicle struck a motorcycle that was travelling on route 112 in Shefford, in Montérégie, on a Saturday afternoon, which injured three people.

    According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the couple who was on the motorcycle was not seriously injured.

    “The two occupants of [the motorcycle], a couple of customers of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, suffered injuries not putting any life in danger and have been conducted at the centre hospitalier de Granby,” said the officer Ann Mathieu.

    The collision occurred at around 14: 30 at the corner of the chemin Saxby, and route 112. The vehicle which was travelling in the direction south on the way Saxby, “had omitted to ensure the absence of danger before crossing the road 112, hitting the motorcycle”, said Ms Mathieu.

    A passenger in the car was transported to the same hospital as a precautionary measure.
