“Vive le Québec libre!”: commemorations of the visit of Charles de Gaulle

On the occasion of the historic visit in Quebec, 50 years ago, French president Charles de Gaulle, during which he delivered the famous “Vive le Québec libre!”, the commemorations will take place throughout the day on Monday.
As of July 24, 1967, a procession will move from the anse au Foulon Quebec city to get to the city hall of Montréal, including the Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade, Trois-Rivières and Louiseville. At each step of this reconstruction, of passages in his various speeches will be repeated.
