Accident in Saint-Hyppolite: a trucker between life and death

A truck driver in the sixties rests between life and death after a road exit Thursday afternoon, in Saint-Hyppolite, in the Laurentians.

The man was riding on his truck 10 wheels on the way to the Lake of the Bass when he continued straight in a curve very pronounced, near the intersection of 10th, a little after 13 h.

A jeep in which were a man and a woman has also made a swerve at this location, no doubt to avoid the heavy weight that brought in their direction. They were not injured.

The driver of the truck was less fortunate: he was taken to the hospital of Sacré-Cœur, Montreal, in critical condition.

The police does not exclude that the sexagenarian native of Laval, has been the victim of a malaise for a few moments before the road exit.

An expert in reconstructing the scene of an accident of the Sûreté du Québec was dispatched to the scene to establish the cause and circumstances of the accident.
