MONTREAL | Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) takes drastic measures to find the perpetrator of an attempted murder that occurred on 16 July in the district côte-des-Neiges in Montreal.
A command post will be set up at 3335 avenue, Linton, Monday, from 7 am until 15h. Police officers will also be door-to-door in the vicinity to attempt to collect information of the population.
They are looking for a suspect, a black about 30 years old who allegedly shot a man of 32 years around 4: 50 am in the morning, on the 16th of July last, on the avenue Linton, near avenue Decelles. The victim has survived, but will bear the after-effects of his serious injuries caused by the bullets.
Speaking French, the suspect measure 1.75 m and it weighs approximately 170 lbs. It would have dreadlocks, and the tip of her hair would be colored gold.
“During the event, he wore a clean shirt fitted with a white t-shirt with round neck below. He also wore black pants by brand Dickies. It would move in a blue vehicle type, hatchback, or crossover, with tires on black rims,” said the SPVM by press release on Sunday.
