Shortly before 9 a.m., a vehicle travelling on the rang Saint-Joseph has deviated from its trajectory, hitting the car that was coming in the opposite direction.

The driver of the vehicle which left its lane, was seriously injured. We feared for his life.

The man and woman who were in the other car were injured and taken to the hospital.

There was no trace of braking on the scene of the accident. The investigators have formulated the hypothesis that cell phone use while driving may be the cause of the collision.

The jaws of life had to be used.

The rank Know-Joseph would be closed to traffic for a good part of the day.
