Sherbrooke: a work of art thrown in the river by bad jokers

The Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke has been the victim of vandalism at the end of the week.
A ball made of stainless steel, weighing around 1130 kg was thrown into the Magog river. The work of the artist David James, entitled “Heaven and earth “, was exposed to the outside of the museum.
It was blown off its base and thrust into the water.
The sculpture has been damaged and it will need to be restored.
A complaint has been lodged at the police Service of Sherbrooke.
No suspect has been arrested.
There was no surveillance camera outside the museum and there is no witness, according to police.
