EDMONTON – A man in his eighties was given a nice surprise by finding her wedding ring, missing for more than a decade, thanks to a carrot, reported CTV News.
This is Collen Daley, the daughter-in-law of Mary Grams, who discovered the ring lost in 2004 by popping it out of the home garden of a carrot surrounded by the ring. The vegetable was outright pushed to the center of the jewel, before you grow all around.
“She told me “have you lost a wedding ring in” before starting to laugh,” said Mrs. Grams, who announce the news by his daughter-in-law on the phone.
Alberta had lost her ring in gardening, in 2004. It was then replaced by another, without revealing the secret, not even her husband, who died in 2012 after 60 years of marriage.
“I cleaned it up and she is in a very good state,” is amused Mrs. Grams, which holds that the ring fits him perfectly, 13 years after his disappearance.
