A teenager of 14 years old raped and left unconscious on a sidewalk

GREENFIELD | Three teenagers from California have been formally accused of raping a 14 year old after ingesting a large quantity of alcohol.

“This is horrible,” said Ed Rodriguez of the police of Greenfield. This is one of the worst cases of aggression in which we have investigated.”

Investigators allege that the suspects, a 17-year-old and the other two 16 years of age, would have left the victim unconscious on the sidewalk after having committed their crime.

A video captured by a surveillance camera installed in a residence has allowed to identify the three alleged assailants.

“How can two 16 year olds and a 17 year old could possibly think that they wouldn’t take after doing something like that?” asks Mr. Rodriguez.

When the victim was found by emergency services, the stakeholders have discovered that she had a fatal dose of alcohol in his body.

“It would have been able to kill her if she had not been found,” added the police officer.

In addition to this sordid history, the authorities believe that one of the suspects would also have made drinking alcohol at a young girl of 12 years in order to make it drunk.

The little girl has also been abandoned on the side of the road, but for the moment, nothing suggests that she was assaulted sexually.

“When we compared the victims, we found them very similar, supports Ed Rodriguez. We are concerned that there could be other potential victims who have experienced the same thing and of course, we ask them to contact us if this is the case.”

The prosecutors in charge of the file could decide to pursue the three suspects as adults, even if they are not yet 18 years old.
