He met a Denise or Donna Laporte, a woman that the authorities have still not managed to identify.

    Beaten to death

The State police of New Hampshire and the police department of the City of Manchester therefore seek the assistance of the province asking them to report any information they have about Rasmussen.

Even if they do not believe that the victims are in quebec, the investigators hope to be able to identify them in retracing the route of the alleged murderer.

Experts in facial reconstruction have created images of the faces of the four victims found in 1985 and 2000.

In November 1985, the skeletal remains of a woman of 22 or 23 years old and a girl aged between 8 and 11 years old have been discovered near steel barrels upside down in a wooded trail in Allenstown, a small town in New Hampshire.

Fifteen years later, in may 2000, the bodies of two other girls who have between one and three years and between two and four years old were found almost at the same place, near the Bear Brook State Park. This time, the corpses had been placed inside a metal barrel.

DNA testing later revealed that the woman in the twenties was a parent with two girls, the youngest and the oldest. The middle one is the child of the alleged killer. The four victims were beaten to death before being abandoned in the forest.

    Several names

The police believe that the woman and two girls of the same family are possibly originating in the New Hampshire or a neighboring State.

After years of research, the investigators were able, in January last, to identify Terrance Peder Rasmussen as the main suspect in this case. In the course of his life, the man used several names, including Robert ” Bob ” Evans.

Born in 1943 in Denver, Rasmussen was part of the u.s. navy between 1961 and 1967. He then married in Hawaii and moved with his wife to Arizona in 1969, where they had four children.

    Life in Prison

The wife and children of the suspect, who is still alive, spotted for the last time in 1974, when he came to their residence with an unknown woman of the family.

The police suspect Rasmussen of having killed the four victims anonymous between 1978 and 1984. In June 2003, Terrance Peder Rasmussen was arrested and sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his girlfriend, Eunsoon Jun, who had disappeared a year earlier in California.
