A Canadian member of the EI could commit a suicide attack according to Interpol

A Canadian is on the list of Interpol listing the combatants of the armed group islamic State likely to perpetrate suicide attacks in Europe, reported Sunday the Global network News.

Tabirul Hasib, a former resident of Toronto 25-year-old, is part of the 173 veterans of the AR targeted by Interpol from information provided by american intelligence agencies.

According to Interpol, these members have been specifically trained to commit suicide attacks.

It is the professor Amarnath Amarasingam, whose research focuses on terrorism, who would have discovered the name of the Canadian originating from Bangladesh on the list.

He believes that Interpol has chosen to distribute the document because of the desire of the ARS to send waves of fighters in the West due to the weakening of the armed group in Iraq and Syria.

“They [Interpol] are concerned that many of these men are in different countries to launch attacks,” explained the researcher at Global News.

According to him, most of the people on the list are Iraqi, but several of them, including Hasib, would be Western.

First to report the existence of the document to Interpol, the british daily “The Guardian” said that the members of the AR targeted “have been trained to construct objects improvised explosive with the aim of causing death and serious injury.”

Recruited in Toronto, Hasib and three other people had left Canada in July 2012 for Lebanon to join the fighting in Syria.

Their parents, however, had convinced to return to Canada and the incident had not been reported to the police.

Hasib and two other men, returned to Syria in 2014.

His nom de guerre would be “Abu Bakr of Bangladesh”, according to information released by Interpol.
