“Actually, the job security is an issue and especially when you’re trying to recruit people outside of the public service”, was launched by the prime minister on Friday during a press conference at the lac-Saint-Jean.

The parliamentary Bureau showed Thursday that between 2007 and 2017 only three job holders above have been suspended, including one without balance. No mandarin has not lost his job despite the controversies during the same period. The government of Quebec employs 753 senior officials.

In comparison, the public service Union of Quebec (SFPQ), which represents 40,000 employees of the State, has contested the past 10 years 2500 suspensions and dismissals, nearly 250 per year, reported the Journal.

As for “consequences” to the MTQ, following the bungling of Highway 13, Éric Caire speaks rather of “lateral movement”. The high official Anne-Marie Leclerc, head of civil security and coordination of emergency measures has been “relieved of his duties”. “It is impossible that none of the approximately 1000 senior government officials has committed an error which would justify in a normal context of a dismissal. You know, the taxpayer knows that and the government probably knows too,” said Mr. Cairo in an interview with the Newspaper.

The leader of the Parti québécois, Jean-François Lisée has also reacted on TVA and wondered why the liberal government had a policy of “tolerance 100%” and he “would like to know why there has never of punishment”.
