Recall mixture of breading possibly contaminated with salmonella

    OTTAWA – The airline Industry proceeds to recall “mix of breading / batter for fish” mark Shore Lunch, because these products may have been contaminated by the bacterium Salmonella.

    The products affected by the recall were sold nationally.

    “Shore Lunch – a Mixture of breading / batter for fish – Cajun Style”, format 255 g (CODE: 1064828 1/18/2018, UPC: 0 24739 19363 5);

    “Shore Lunch – a Mixture of breading / batter for fish – Recipe “, format 255 g (CODE: 1064839 1/17/2018, UPC: 0 24739 19362 8).

    The canadian food inspection agency (CFIA) said in a press release, Friday, that food contaminated with Salmonella can cause several health problems, including fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

    Persons in possession of these products are urged to discard or return them in-store.

    The CFIA stresses that no reaction linked to the consumption of the product has not been reported.
