Hurricane Irma: “Our greatest wish is to leave”

    On vacation to Islands of Turquoise, Richard Huard, his spouse and his relatives fear for their safety and desperately want to leave before the powerful hurricane Irma does not touch the ground.

    “The majority of Canadians and Quebecers who are here want to leave before the arrival of this hurricane. obviously it is our greatest wish”, testified Mr. Huard to the interview in “Quebec Morning”, in LCN.

    “We make calls from 24-48 hours to try to make pressure to go home or at least on land somewhere in the United States”, he added.

    To 36 hours of the arrival of Irma, Richard Huard says it is ready to mount on board of any aircraft that would want to bring to good port the Canadians on the spot.

    “The airport is open for up to 18 h [Wednesday] evening, and several other companies are leaving, we we arrived with Air Canada and it is our greatest wish that Air Canada came for us”, he said.

    Preparations rudimentary
