MONTREAL – Two men, of 19 and 20 years old, suffered severe injuries after having been assaulted with a weapon, in the night from Saturday to Sunday in the borough of Plateau Mont-Royal, Montreal.

The assault occurred around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Clark and Milton.

According to preliminary information, a conflict between two groups of individuals would have burst at the output of a bar. It was during a rush, that at least one of the suspects allegedly assaulted the two victims with a bladed weapon.

Injuries to the upper body, the two men were transported to a hospital, their life would not be in danger.

The suspects had fled before police arrived.

An investigation was opened to determine the causes and circumstances of the assault.
