OTTAWA | The federal government has launched a public consultation with businesses, organizations and citizens to improve cell phone service and to offer added value to the class average.

Mindful of the high cost of cell phone service in the country, Ottawa is seeking different points of view which will enable him to make cell phone service more affordable for Canadians.

According to the Trudeau government, the services of entry-level are, on average, much more expensive in Canada than in the United Kingdom and the United States. However, always according to Ottawa, the networks in the country are the second-fastest in terms of the average speed of the wireless connections among the G-7 countries.

These are all reasons for Ottawa on Friday launched a consultation on the release of spectrum which allows the operation of cell phones, tablets and other smart devices.

“This plan will promote competition, investment and innovation in the canadian telecommunications sector, so that Canadians can continue to enjoy for next-generation technologies and to ensure that Canada remains at the forefront of innovation”, explained the minister of Innovation, Science and economic Development, Navdeep Bains.
