As reported in the Journal, “The political analyst Luc Lavoie has not committed any criminal offence according to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). Mr. Lavoie was the subject of an investigation after the statements which had raised the controversy in the show “The Game” in LCN, last October 3. “After an analysis of comments and have met the interested party, the SQ came to the conclusion that there are no reasonable grounds to believe that a criminal offence has been committed,” said sergeant Daniel Thibodeau to VAT News.”

Since even very poor taste, as I explained here in a post analysis, it was obviously a joke. And not, it was obvious that an incentive of any kind to violence or hatred against the separatists :

For once, the SQ has quickly worked. This whole story is now out of Absurdistan, but she would never have had to get there at the beginning.
