International safer Internet day is celebrated on February 11 in the world under the slogan ” let’s Create a positive Internet together!”

This is a key international date on the problem of safety of children and adults in the network and the formation of ethical online environment.

Since 2004, the European network of safer Internet centres Insafe, acting within the framework programme of the European Commission “safer Internet” has been organizing this festival. Now safer Internet day is celebrated in more than 110 countries of the world where arranged more than a thousand of measures aimed at improving the security of Internet users.

“The slogan of the 2014 emphasizes the role of positive and developing Internet services in the formation of a full and harmonious personality in digital society,” – noted on the official website of the festival.

For the first time will celebrate safer Internet day

The day of safe Internet in Russia will be the final point of safe Runet week, which took place in the regions from February 3. During this time, Russian cities were organized by video conferencing and round tables devoted to the problems of security in the network.
