Murder in Longueuil : suspect still sought

LONGUEUIL | the author of The murder of an 18 year old man in Longueuil, on Sunday evening, was still being sought by the police on Monday.

The police Service of the urban agglomeration of Longueuil (SPAL) has stated that a person had presented to the authorities by saying hold of the important elements to solve this case.

“A man is presented with information relating to the investigation. He was met by investigators. It is considered as a witness. We are always searching for the suspect,” said Marie Beauvais of the SPAL, Monday morning.

The police confirmed that the victim and the suspect were at the same time in a restaurant located near the drama, before the dispute fatal occurred a little after 18h on Grant street near the boulevard Saint-Foy.

Arrived on the spot, the police had found that the young man had been reached. He had been rushed to the hospital where he died

“We are looking for a man dressed in the dark who escaped on foot before police arrived,” said Marie Beauvais.

The police have refused to clarify if the man killed knew the one who made fire on him.

This is the 4th homicide to have occurred in the territory of the urban agglomeration of Longueuil this year.
