A massive fire has completely razed a luxury residence under construction on Wednesday in the early afternoon, in Brossard.

The flames have taken birth a little before 13 h, on the street in Luxor, at the heart of a new residential development.

“On our arrival on the scene, the blaze was 100 % of the residence,” said Sylvain Deschamps, chief of division in the fire Department Longueuil.

Barely 30 minutes after the start of the blaze, the fire had already ravaged the entire building.

Certainly, it is a total loss.

No one was injured during the disaster.

An investigation is underway to establish the cause of the fire.

The damage amounted to several tens of thousands of dollars.
