SAINTE-ANNE-DES-LACS – A motorist who is committed to the opposite direction on highway 15 north has caused a serious accident Wednesday evening, at the height of Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs, in the Laurentians. There are fears for the life of one of the injured.

According to the Sûreté du Québec, the accident occurred around 20 h when a motorist is engaged in a southerly direction on highway 15 north.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision, who has done five wounded. The number, four were treated for minor injuries, while a fifth person was in critical condition in the evening. “There are fears for his life,” said the spokesman of the SQ.

Highway 15 north was completely closed to traffic during the evening to allow investigators to analyze the accident scene. A detour has been put in place via route 117.
